Privacy policy
ThreeTimeSlots is an add-in for Microsoft Outlook made by Innovate Audit Africa (Pty) Ltd ("we"). This policy explains what it does with information about you. The short version: ThreeTimeSlots works out your free times inside your own Outlook. Your calendar is never sent to us.
What the add-in accesses
When you sign in, you give ThreeTimeSlots permission through Microsoft to:
- Sign you in and read your basic profile (Microsoft permission
User.Read), used to identify your mailbox. - Read basic details of your calendars (Microsoft permission
Calendars.ReadBasic). ThreeTimeSlots uses this only to ask Microsoft when you are busy or free over the next few weeks. It does not request meeting subjects, attendees, locations or notes, and it never creates, changes or deletes calendar items. - Write into the email you are composing, but only when you click "Insert 3 times" or "Insert into email".
ThreeTimeSlots does not read your emails, contacts or files, and never sends email on your behalf.
Where processing happens
The free/busy lookup goes directly from your Outlook to Microsoft Graph, and the free slots are worked out in the add-in running in your Outlook. We do not operate a server that receives your calendar data, and we do not store it.
What is stored, and where
- Your preferences, free-trial count and licence key are saved in your own Outlook mailbox (Outlook "roaming settings", held by Microsoft), so they follow you between devices.
- Sign-in tokens are handled by Microsoft's sign-in library within Outlook.
Buying and licence keys
Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our reseller and merchant of record, under its privacy policy. It collects what it needs to take payment and issue an invoice, such as your name, email address, billing country and payment details. We receive your name, email address, order details and licence key from it so we can support you; we never see your full card details.
When you unlock ThreeTimeSlots, the add-in sends your licence key and your mailbox email address (as a label for the activation) to Lemon Squeezy's licence service, and about once a month re-checks that the key is still valid.
Services the add-in and website load
- Microsoft's Office JavaScript library (appsforoffice.microsoft.com) and sign-in services.
- Microsoft's sign-in library (MSAL), served from the jsDelivr content network.
- This website is hosted on GitHub Pages and uses Google Fonts. As with any website, these providers see your IP address when your browser loads files from them.
We do not use analytics, advertising trackers or cookies.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent personal information, or share it with anyone except the providers named above and where required by law.
How long we keep information
We keep purchase and support records for as long as needed to provide the product, handle refunds and meet tax and accounting obligations, then delete them. To remove the data stored in your mailbox, remove the add-in from Outlook.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under POPIA in South Africa or the GDPR in the UK and EU), you may ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. Email [email protected].
Removing access
You can remove ThreeTimeSlots from Outlook at any time, and revoke its permissions at myapps.microsoft.com (or ask your IT administrator).
